The Liberals win more votes, but fewer seats, than the Conservatives.

The NDP wins almost twice as many votes as the Bloc, but barely half as many seats.

The Greens win one in forty votes, but not a single seat.

More voters than at any other time in recent history actually want a minority government.

Does this sound like a recipe for proportional representation, or what?

Unfortunately, PR typically results in mushy, unstable coalitions. As much time is spent building alliances as examining policy in detail. Leaving I feel everyone not as good off. And this is from the perspective of someone who voted Green this election.
